I am a veteran educator with over two decades of professional work experience. I've had the privilege of assisting Pre K-12 students and their families in various educational settings, including public, private, charter, alternative, urban, and rural schools. I am a proud three-time alumni of Florida State University and also graduated from Liberty University. My career spans administrative roles at both district and school levels, along with experiences as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, and testing coordinator.
Currently, I am actively involved in multiple teams at ECCA, including the ECCA Leadership Team, Data Team, Wellness Committee, and Mental Health Emergency Response Team. Additionally, I serve as an Academic Coach for the REACH Georgia Scholarship Foundation. My educational philosophy is centered around the whole child approach, focusing on integrating intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.
Outside of work, I am supported by my husband of twenty years, Adam, who is a PE teacher at SHES and SEHS baseball coach. We are proud parents to our daughters, Abigail and Adeline, and our beloved Basset hound, Cooper. Currently, I serve as a School Counselor at ECCA and I am eager to partner with you and your student(s) for a successful school year!
